Contract Hire News – Italian super cars line up at the home of Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes contract hire customers who visit Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey can view the entire Mercedes-Benz model line-up from the last century, including all models and derivatives from the current 2009 model range.
Visitors to the centre at the historic Brooklands site at the beginning of May were also able to see some of the world’s most exotic cars.
The Auto Italia show at Brooklands Museum featured some of the finest and most desirable Italian super cars ever created. Lamborghini, Ferrari and Maserati were well represented amongst the hundreds of cars on display.
Motoring enthusiasts also had a rare chance to see an Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3. Most of our contract hire customer will be too young to remember that between 1923 and 1935 the P3 won numerous Grand Prix races – the most famous being in Germany in 1935 when Tazio Nuvolari, driving for team Ferrari, beat the newer and more powerful cars of Mercedes-Benz and Auto Union to win the race.
One of the highlights of the one-day Italian super car show was when a number of cars took a lap of honour around the Brooklands circuit before attempting to climb the Test Hill.

Mercedes contract hire customers can visit Mercedes-Benz World 7 days a week (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day). Admission is free, although there may be a charge for some of the events and activities.
