With half-term almost upon us and a Bank Holiday Weekend to get things started, the Mercedes car leasing team at City Vehicle Leasing is already planning how to make the most of some time off with the family.
Top of the list of things to do is a day out at Mercedes-Benz World. Regular readers of Contract Hire News will know what big fans we are of the Mercedes-Benz mecca in Surrey. For starters the centre is open 363 days of the year and is an excellent all-weather destination. Secondly, admission is free, and as families of four or more know it would set them back between £40 to £60 just to get through the door at some visitor attractions.
Then there’s the fact that Mercedes-Benz World really know how to give their guests an unbeatable day out. Permanent exhibits and attractions include the full Mercedes-Benz model line up from the last 100 years. The current model range is also on display, from A-Class, to S-Class, SLK to R-Class. If you’re undecided which model to contract hire, Mercedes-Benz World is a good place to get some inspiration.
Mercedes-Benz World takes you back though automotive history and invites visitors of all ages to Discover, Build, Watch and Solve in an interactive journey through the creation of a Mercedes-Benz car.
The motor sports gallery takes you on a tour of Mercedes-Benz involvement in Formula One. An authentic pit spot simulation and Lewis Hamilton’s 2007 F1 car are two of the highlights.
A range of Driving Experiences can be enjoyed on the centre’s handling circuit or Wet Skid track. Choose from a passenger experience in a Mercedes AMG with a professional driver, a 30 minute driving experience in the Mercedes-Benz model of your choice, or one of the many other short or full day sessions. You can also tackling a 10-acre mixed terrain off-road course in a Mercedes-Benz ML.
For the half-term weekend Mercedes-Benz World have put together a packed programme of entertainment. Children can take part in a Kid’s Driving Experience (minimum height restriction of 1.5 metres applies). The Silver Arrows Display Team will also be wowing spectators everyday with their high-speed synchronized driving acrobatics in a fleet of Mercedes AMG sports cars.
There is so much to see and do at Mercedes-Benz World this half-term you’ll welcome the opportunity to catch your breath and refuel over a relaxed and informal snack or light lunch in the centre’s café. Or why not take a more leisurely lunch in the Gullwing restaurant with a ring side seat over looking the handling circuits.
