Night View Assist uses infrared light, invisible to the human eye, to light the dark road ahead at night. An infrared camera captures the image and relays it to an eight-inch screen within the instrument panel. The system provides you with a clear view of the road ahead, on the darkest of nights and even when vehicle headlights coming towards you are dazzling.

Mercedes S-Class – Join the revolution
When developing the new-generation engines for the Mercedes S-Class the seemingly impossible objective was to maximise power whilst improving emissions and fuel consumption.
The engines they have delivered are quite remarkable. A V6, V8 and V12 petrol line-up and a V6 diesel engine with third-generation common-rail direct injection that sets new standards for performance in its displacement class.
The V6 S350 produces 272 hp and 350Nm of torque, achieving 0-62 in 7.2 seconds and fuel consumption of 28.0 mpg combined.
The S500 with the new Mercedes’ V8 engine delivers 388 hp and 530Nm torque. 0-62 is reached in 5.4 seconds and fuel economy is 24.1 mpg combined.
At the top end of the S-Class line up the V12 Mercedes S600L generates 517 hp and 860Nm torque whilst the Mercedes S65 AMG L achieves 612 hp and 1,000Nm torque. 0-62 figures for these models are 4.6 seconds. A staggering performance dispatched without turbo whine, vibration or more than the barest hint of combustion noise.
