The Mercedes-Benz M-Class is a luxury sports utility vehicle (SUV) with safety features and design specification that sets it apart from other vehicles in the 4x4 sector.

The standard 4ETS/EPS dynamic handling system manages anti-lock braking (ABS) and acceleration skid control (ASR) and can trigger selective braking to individual wheels.  Downhill Speed Regulation (DSR) enables you to maintain a selected speed between 3 and 11mph when making a steep descent.

The optional Off-Road Pro Package provides two manually selectable 100% differential locks, with a reinforced rear-axel differential and a two-speed transfer case (with a low range). Switch between the 1.1 on-road ratio and the 2.93.1 off-road ratio as the terrain dictates.

The Mercedes M-Class is equipped with the world’s first 7-speed automatic transmission as standard: 7G-Tronic. Not only does the gearbox deliver uninterrupted torque and seem-less gear change, low engines speeds mean increased fuel efficiency.
